We’re completely independent from the influence of big brewers. We’re locally owned and all the money involved flows to our team of local families, friends, customers and suppliers. With an independent approach, comes independent thinking and creativeness.
We also challenge authority and expectations at every turn.
DRAFT FOCUSED
For the first 12 years of our existence, we were available draft only, where packaging waste is eliminated. Our primary focus has always been on promoting the draft beer experience, where beer is consumed in durable, reusable glasses and served from refillable kegs in a communal environment. Although we’re very glad to be able to offer our products to go now in bottles and cans, draft will always be the (512) way!
The Pecan Porter
A Texas Original... All Year Long
Nearly black in color, (512) Pecan Porter is made with American US 2-row and copious amounts of Crystal malt, along with Baird’s Chocolate and Black malts. Its full body and malty sweetness are balanced with subtle pecan aroma and flavor from locally grown pecans. Yet another true Austin original!
