So pleased to offer another release of this iconic barrel aged gem! It’s a labor of love from brew to barrel then barrel to bottles and kegs. A “double” version of our classic Pecan Porter is racked to freshly emptied Willett Bourbon barrels and aged for at least three months, imparting huge notes of bourbon and oak to the base flavors of chocolate, coffee and pecans. Ask for it on draft and also look for 500ml bottles of coffee infused versions.

Pecan Porter wins back to back medals in the first two years of the Texas Craft Brewers Cup, bronze in 2022 and now silver in 2023 - both in the Stout & Porter category.

Also, so honored that (512) Nut Brown wins 2023 bronze in UK Classic Styles category as well.

Our brewing, cellaring and packaging teams work very hard in tough conditions and with often less that ideal tools, so thanks and congrats to whole team!

Another very special barrel aged beer release, YOU

Another very special barrel aged beer release, YOUNG FUNKENSTEIN, is a copper ale turned wild and sour from months in red wine barrels with added wild yeast and bacteria, and months with a charge of dried cherries to finish. Sour, wild, tart, and effervescent, it’s a one of a kind beer we love to share!

It seems a lot of barrel aged programs have been abandoned recently, yet we press forward for the love of craft! Projects like this are tricky and time consuming, wrought with risk of ending poorly or cross contamination, but they’re a labor of love and they keep our team excited about creating and sharing something authentic and challenging.

Enjoy this in 12oz 4-pks and on draft while it lasts! It will cellar well! 7%ABV
